“ The service was perfect. I never wanted to leave. A very special and unique place here in Port Richmond. I was so happy there. The wings are so unique and delicious. Lots of comments on the sauciness but I didn't find them to be overly saucy. But how do they get the meat to fall off the bone like that!!!!??? You just can't get wings like that anywhere else in Philly. They have crab but I just got the crab soup. Yum. No French fries but they do have potato logs and everyone was ordering them and knew what they were. $2 Miller Lites during Phillies games. Impeccable service. It was like 4 different people were all thinking with the same brain. ”
“ OMG! We love this place. We always order Maryland crab soup, a large pepperoni pizza, 50 wings and potato logs. And when they do have crabs we order those too. Also they have Jersey corn. Everything that we have is very good and tasty. The Maryland crab soup has crab in it. The wings, well they fall off the bones good! The potato logs are the best, but be careful because the are very hot in temperature, which is the best. It is served with sour cream and cheese. The crabs they depends on what they have and what they have left. I have no idea how the cook them but they ate tasty. When they serve it to you , the crabs will be in a try and the tops of the crabs are gone and they have cleaned out the i sides. The seasoning they put on is a bit spicy. Also you can request malt vinegar. Lastly the Jersey corn! Omg omg! Cooked perfectly and the crunch and the butter soooo good. The service is excellent! The ambiance is friendly and bar like. As for the women's bathroom, well it is quite small. It is clean, but very very small. You are not able to on the toilet the regular way. No room for your legs. So you have been warned. We love this place! ”
“ What an awesome corner taproom. I had the kielbasa with pierogies special, we also got their wings, cheesesteak egg rolls and a pork sandwich. The bar tender was very friendly. We also got the cucumber and tomato salad to go. Food was good, service was fast. I would definitely recommend. ”
“ Wings are good, not great. They are definitely tender and flavorful, but are lacking the crispiness that I like in Buffalo wings. I don't believe they are deep-fried; most likely made in a pressure cooker or boiled and then thrown in a hot oven for a couple minutes. All the reviews keep talking about how they are "fall off the bone". I hear this when people are heralding ribs as well. But as far as I'm concerned, falling off the bone is not the mark of a good wing or rib. I could boil either of them, and get them to be falling off the bone. Wings and ribs should have some bite and chew to them, and wings especially should be crispy on the outside. Still, they are good for what they are. Excellent kielbasa sandwiches, and the prices are pretty fair. Great dive atmosphere and good service as well. ”
“ The wings are a MUST try. They are fall off the bone but still juicy and flavorful. The turkey sandwich was fresh as they make the turkey in house. The service was quick and efficient. If you are in the mood for some top notch bar food, give it a try. ”
“ Best wings I've ever had. You can clean the meat off the bone in one slurp! They pressure cook them - sauce is great & beer is cold. Service is amazing!! ”
“ Stopped in last night for dinner with a friend. Their wings are my favorite, by far! We got 25 wings, crabby logs and pierogis. Everything was so good, quick and hot!! Always friendly service with familiar faces! ”
“ It has always been a mad scientist calculation. There are no burgers, no cheesesteaks and no fries! WTF!!! Who are these people??? When this place opened, I was still a person that lived across the river (not the Delaware). Working in the Independence Mall area ... I would stop in to Brownies Pub. The owner and a few patrons would meet at Byrne's for a Guinness. But I digress! It truly is a family experience ... a throwback to a time when Mom and Dad wanted to go have a few but the kids got in the way. Here you can have distance from the bar and stuff those rugrats with just enough to make them docile. In closing, the past three times that I had the wings ... I was ... underwhelmed. The wings to me were always tasty but the texture was like a jellyfish/muscles. Today! The wings had a little crisp and the sauce was actually tangy. (Sorry for telling the truth about past expériences) BTW The LOGS rule!!! Happy Anniversary!!!! PS: I wish that I could get a burger but I understand. ”
